You said the Vinny deal wasn't dumb.
Now you'd trade him for a 3rd (2105), 4th (2014), a UFA, and pay a 1 mil to move him?

I didn't say I would trade him for that. I said I wouldn't be upset if they made that deal. And in fact, when that trade was proposed, I said I wouldn't make it. And that's on record on this thread. But let's not let the facts get in the way!

Love the Timonen deal. Essentially a UFA D Man on a 1 year $4 million max deal. one and done baby. A bridge to youth without blocking them down the road. I think Hexy will now try to deal Grossman for a cheaper option, but he's only got 2 years left.

Except that it very well could block them down the road, as the potential for an bonus overage is there.
