I was one of the few hoping Timonen would retire. Keep in mind, I love Kimmo Timonen, I really do. I was seriously worried if he did re-sign that he would sign for well above his value like last summer. Once again he's surprised me and proved me wrong. He wants to win, has confidence in this team and he's proved this today. Again keep in mind that it was Kimmo who spoke of retirement two years ago, nobody twisted his arm to talk about his future, so I've been extremely sceptical of him. I'm happy to have him back but in my opinion this leaves one more year of wondering what life will be like without Kimmo or how to bring in a legit number one blueliner. It's going to be stressful.
