Hextall admits he doesn't know yet what to do about Lecavalier's situation after talks w/Hughes (agent) - PhillySportsGuy
Gimme his phone number Timmeh I'll tell him what to do.
I'm a (frank)in master at GMing. I just won the Cup 6 times in a row after building the Flames from the ground up in NHL14 |

I still think they should add one more. Many of the plays happen so far away from any referee. - PhillySportsGuy
I just don't understand why a guy watching a tv screen can't call penalties. They would never screw up anything. Could rewind real quick and double check things. No player would even try to commit a penalty behind the play. |

Yeah. I like the signing too.
Assuming we need to retain $1.5M in order to move VL, we will have $8.5M of cap space dedicated to 3 players who won't be playing in 2015-16 for the Flyers. (Pronger, Kimmo, VL) - PhillySportsGuy
It's not a guarantee that they will have bonus overage penalties from Timonen for the 15/16 season. And they also will get the LTIR exemption for Pronger.

ONE MORE YEAR! ONE MORE YEAR! ONE MORE YEAR!
This blueline would have been seriously (frank)ed without him this year. |

There's some sort of cap HIT and assassination joke in here somewhere. I can feel it.
Something like....
"In my neighborhood, we call that different kind of cap hit." |

Can Hexy get us cheaper assassins from Europe?
Maybe some second tier Swedish assassins? |

They should be OK as long as they don't take on any huge contracts... no significant re-ups scheduled for next summer. |

Then he's have to go on LTIR. |

That is the only reasonable solution remaining. |

Good.
Hextall is not going to trade Schenn. He drafted him (well not really since he wasn't the GM but you know what I'm sayin) and watched him develop in LA.
His Schenn praisings are comforting. |

Kimmo really was burnt toast in the playoffs. I'm very meh about this. I'd feel better when/if grossman is shipped out |

I think there will be an overage. They are right up against right now. It probably won't be the full $2M.
The LTIR is usable, but we've discussed the drawbacks of having to use it early in the season. |

I think they're going to limit his minutes a bit this year. Let him play less "hard" minutes hopefully. |

Schenn's new contract probably won't be bonus heavy though, if that makes any difference |

I think you will see Kimmo in a different role this year. Hopefully they keep his icetime around 16-18 a game. |

Think palatsigning for 3.3 mil makes signing schenn for 2.5 easier? |

He seems to really like Schenn. It's too early to tell if he's using a smokescreen though. |
