I'm not sure I would. There's certain player I just can't root for. If the Flyers ever had:

Sean Avery
Matthew Barnaby
Ulfie (who they did)
Marc Bureau (who they did)
Tie Domi
Dale Hunter
Darcy Tucker

I wouldn't (and didn't) want them to succeed.

I don't think they've ever explicitly stated, but it was supposedly some slur or other abusive language towards a teammate.

So many things wrong with today's world, but suspending a kid for being a douche should be pretty low on the list. I figure the last thing a coach would want to do is sit one of his top players, so whatever he did was apparently pretty bad.

I'm a fan of Brodeur - best goalie to ever play the game imo - so having him on the team wouldn't bother me. James Neal on the other hand would be the first Flyers player I'd be ok with having on LTIR with a concussion.

FWIW, Dreger says Kings do not plan to buy out Mike Richards, however they may well demand he start a better conditioning program this summer

I think this says a lot about Richards as awhole. Both with the Kings and here. We saw his development first hand. We saw him rise, we saw him on top of the world for two seasons and then saw a dramatic step back before his trade. I buy into the partying and don't blame Laviolette for trying to get our Captain to set an example by setting down.

Speaking of size, if this guy is available in the draft I would draft him. Guy gets it done!! Not big, but has serious heart.
