Sure they could have. Their lines were rolling in all series' up until the Rangers series where they ran out of gas. Price is beyond overrated.

Lundqvist on the other hand is a demi-god and should be recognized as such.
Don't be surprised if he starts using Thor's hammer next year instead of a blocker. Crosby will wish for that water to the face in lieu of what he gets next season.

Without Price the Habs don't beat the Bruins. He stole a few games on his own.
Without Price they do likely still beat the Lightning... and you see what happens with the Rangers and no Price. |

In the Olympics and playoffs Kane was just dynamic and almost unstoppable.. And had he scored the game winner in game 7 against the Kings it would have been the third series he won on an OT goal this year. He was the reason a game 7 even happened.

Carey Price
gold medal goalie, incredibly dominant in the regular season and was amazing in the playoffs until he got injured. Habs might have made the finals if he didn't get hurt. |
