If it has to go one player of either NY or LA then it should be Doughty. (though I hate to say it.). If it can go to a player not in the finals it is Kane by a mile. Guy is Mr. Playoffs.

I am not a Habs fans, but I will say that Carey Price definitely deserves some recognition... He had a great year, would have been Vezina worthy if it wasn't for outstanding play from Rask, Bishop and Varlamov... Also helped Canada win gold at the olympics.... Gold, not silver, sorry King Henrik.... and in the playoffs, besides the fact that he got injured and then montreal would be eliminated by the rangers, he played outstanding against the bruins, i watched all the games of all the different rounds and it is still a high bid at the best round for a goalie performance in the 2014 playoffs... Agreed that King Henrik had some great games, but Carey Price played great against the best team in the league, the bruins.... I can't say that Price is a clear winner, because he is not, but he deserves to be nominated...

As much as I want to say Toews (best player for Canada yet again, while Crosby scores one goal and all of the hockey media goes apoplectic), I have to give Doughty his props.

Sure they could have. Their lines were rolling in all series' up until the Rangers series where they ran out of gas. Price is beyond overrated.
