Carcillo not in lineup tonight. I would have liked to see him stand and watch the Kings skate the Cup around the vacant MSG arena

5th or 6th line center. Flyers are actually trying to get real deep down the middle.

I dig the signing. Speed upgrade, hands upgrade, skill upgrade, and defensive upgrade for the 4th line winger spot.

If he's really like Raffl with more offense, it's a great signing.

Justin Williams wins the Conn Smyth tonight because of his clutch play and high +/-

Well I'm just going on what I've heard, but by all accounts this is a low risk high reward signing

I really think Hextall is going to try very hard not to overpay for any UFAs this offseason. Assuming VL is moved, I could see a forward corps of:
Hartnell-G-Read
Raffl-Schenn-Jake
Bellemare-Coots-Simmonds
Inexpensive UFA-Laughton-Akeson or Rinaldo

I love the speed and defensive responsibility aspects particularly. If he has the offensive skill sounds like he could be a candidate for the third line too. I would really like to see Raffl on the fourth line AND for the fourth line to play more minutes.

Bellemare #41
highlights of the france/Canada game...FF to the end for Bellemare's SO goal he blew by Reimer.

Looked like he was on a line with Da Costa and Roussel from the Stars

Need more 200 ft. skaters/players. That's the name of the game the Hawks and Kings are proving it.

The international/college free agent market is becoming such an integral part of the game. It's becoming an excellent place to find depth at a cheap price.

If they can add one more two-way winger and move VL, I would be pretty satisfied with our forward group going into next season.

If he truly has an excellent wrister and a very solid two way game...I can only wonder how he might fit on G's line with Hartnell on the LW or Simmonds on the RW. Bc didn't Raffl look great on the top line, he just couldn't finish enough.

“Every team that wins the Stanley Cup, they have a marquee D-man,” Red Wings coach Mike Babcock said, taking a moment to chat on Tuesday. “I think of Orr, Nicklas Lidstrom, Drew Doughty, Zdeno Chara.”
