He is right CHL and NHL have a Transfer rule . They cannot go to the Minor leagues till they are at least 20 or have played 4 years in the CHL . That is why we could not
send Grigorenko to Rochester till the CHL team he was on was eliminated.

They got Schneider for Bo "Uninspiring" Horvat to be the goalie now .

Demko would be the goalie of the future something I don't think they have in the system currently.

Im all for taking him if he falls to our second pick.I doubt theres any forward with over whelming talent at 31 and we don't need anymore prospect d man.Id even package both second round picks to move up if TM feels he can be a legit franchise goalie in the future.

I don't know. If you want to win now you need muscle to beat the top teams like Boston and LA....but will that be case when the Oilers and Sabres are competing? I would rather build a wicked team that plays Oilers hockey than Heavy hockey, and make those older, slower teams try and keep up.
Rather be ahead of the curve than trying to catch up with it.
