Ugh...I've watched that once - never again.

Funny timing since the original was on last night and I watched a bunch before bed.

Me, too.

I was switching back and forth between that and Shawshank!

That's like having to choose between Mila Kunis and Kate Beckinsale

When this series is over, everyone will remember that the Kings won two cups in three years. But nobody will remember who they beat in the finals.

But yet the Ranger fans on this site will feel disrespected that everyone picked against their team.

They at remaking "IT"
Gonna be a two-part movie, and this time will be rated R (instead of "made for tv")... So it should be pretty rad

That's true. Their opponents were very average to say the least

I'd trade up and draft Ho Sang if he isn't available I'd go for Nedeljkovic or Demko.

problem is there is eventually not enough nets to plug all these goalies into- therefor no chance to develop any of them.

as of now you have Hackett, Lieuwan, Makarov, and eventually Ullmark and Peterson. All at similar stages of their careers. you basically have to guess right because there isnt enough spots to play them all. Knapp basically got lost in the shuffle because he failed in a small sample size and never was given an opportunity to develop.

- battelmt

Lieuwen and Hackett I doubt will make the NHL on a regular basis. Hopefully Hackett is traded this offseason. Total waste of space. Lieuwen has a chance at a good AHL career but NHL? Nope. Plus he's got concussion problems if I am not mistaken? Knapp shouldn't be with the franchise much longer either. So that's 3 goalies already on their way out. It wouldn't hurt to have another goalie to develop with Petersen and Ulmark. Especially a goalie with such high potential.

Nik ehlers- Pat Kane
William Nylander- Claude Giroux
Aaron Ekblad- Alex Pietrangelo
Sam Reinhart- Patrice Bergeron
Leon Draisatil- Anze Kopitar
Sam Bennett- Mike Richards (in his prime)
That's guys I see as realistic style comparisons. Obviously Nylander does not have the defensive capabilities as giroux but that's who I think of when I see his speed and offensive ability.

- Pegullaville

What does this have to do with the actual subject of goalies ? Lol

Reinhart = Toews
Ekblad = Pieterangelo
Draisaitl = pooptier version of Kopitar
Nylander = Statsny
Bennett = Kesler (Now)

That's why he's a scoring forward. Can't have two way players all the time.

What's your take on drafting goalies?
I think its so hard to tell what they'll end up being

Probably better off trading for a young one who hasn't quite come into his own just yet (Gibson, Allen, etc)
We have plenty of prospects for Murray to move
Especially forwards
They won't all fit into our lineup 5yrs from now
Plus we have at least 8-9 picks in the top2 rounds of the next 2 drafts

What if we could get Burakovsky from Wsh?
Could be nice to keep him playing right alongside McDavid when we take him next year!

Knapp won't be resigned
Lieuwen, Hackett & Makarov have all looked GREAT at times, but also pretty crappy in spots too...
Tough to say if any of them will amount to more than backup material at the NHL level
Ullmark seems to be our bes bet at a good future starter, by he's still 3-4yrs away from making the Sabres
Petersen we likely won't know about for at least 5yrs
Most goalies don't develop until they're about 26 or so

Stewart/Stafford +
Maybe?
Ennis?
I'm pretty sure they're gonna be in "win NOW" mode
And that could help us land a pretty good prospect from them
That's my hope anyways
