Emrick has never struck me as a "Flyer hater" ... I realize that he was (is?) a Devils play by play guy, but he also spent a lot of time with the Flyers.

i thought there was some drama when he left philly to go to be the devils guy. he usually doesn't sound as excited when the flyers score as he seems to when the opponent does

Sure you can/should. You respect the player, what he did for the team. If you still like how he plays, that's no crime.

I wish how it ended with Lindros and the Flyers would have been better, for example. But Eric Lindros was an absolute beast for the Flyers, and i choose to remember the good things he did

He dissed the Flyers on TV as a NJD announcer when they were getting it back together during or after the 06-07 season. Chico Resch made a comment about how it was good for hockey etc the Flyers were competitive again and Emrick said NO.

This is beating. Quick is a wall. Nobody can say the exceptional performance of Carter and Richards as they move closer to their 2nd cup since being shipped out of Philadelphia isn't a bit of a kick in the nuts.

Marc Bergevin ruined leClair on a trip from behind that he rode him and sent him to the boards thanksgiving eve 2003. I was there and saw it happen in Pissburgh.
Enough reason for the earth to open up and swallow that team and Bergevin wherever he is.
