I didn't notice anything unorthodox about his skating ability.. He seemed to have good speed, & he has decent size if he bulked up over the summer.. A little lucky on the wrapper off the skate goal. Good skilful hockey play none the less. Like you said Travis, you can never have enough good players.. One thing Ottawa's going to have next season is a ton of cap space & forward positions to fill. I'd like to see Murray take a chance on some skillful young euros, I mean you could possibly find a jem.

We have a bunch of skilled young forwards who have been waiting for a prolonged shot at important minutes - if we're moving out veterans, I'd rather give the guys in the system a shot than some random Czech who hasn't even lit up the KHL.

I can name some great goaltenders, but rarely do players come out of nowhere.
