I've been thinking bringing Richards back. He could have bounce back. But another reliable center that plays great defense that fits bully mentality is Ott. He could be a nice piece to add. If I'm trading brayden Schenn I'm making a package to get bobby Ryan and have him on the top line with giroux. Bring Laughten up. Couts on the 2nd line and pray to god Hartnell and or VL are gone and sign another winger or center. Or just bring up youth and be a fast pace and even younger team.

Hell no to Ott.
I agree about Schenn. If we come to the conclusion Schenn will not work out at wing and we decide to trade him, I want and equally skilled or forward of equal talent in return. We do not give Schenn away for beans a 1 - 1 Ryan Schenn swap I 'd do

I feel a bobby Ryan to Philly is bound to happened eventually. Especially if Ottawa doesn't sign him. Bobby Ryan has several times expressed a strong desire to play for Philly and with G

Kesler for Schenn isn't happening. We see this kind of BS all the time in the off-season.

All just a way of keeping that horsepoop website Twitter alive with hits.

If the Flyers want to trade Schenn they should look at adding to the package and bringing in Josi.

That's the kind of deal that needs, and can be made.

Sure he is better but he is another natural center that prob cant play wing and worse injury issues
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

I'm sorry but you should really do research before spewing off comments.

Kesler last season played 77 games , the year before he was injured and played 17 of the 48, the year before he played 77 , the year before he played 82. Does that sound like injury prone?

He scored 8 of his 25 goals playing wing on the PP with the Sedins and parts of the year on the wing

It's a decent market for centers via trade, with what they want and him limiting it to 6 teams is going to be tough.

Are you trying to sell us your nearly expired milk?

Kesler plays the same style as Mike Richards and we know first hand at what that style does to a player. Kesler had been ridden hard and put away wet.

Schenn brothers for Josi and Ellis. Base a deal around that.

I don't think both of them would get you Josi alone.

Luke Schenn is kind of a younger version of Grossmann. Not sure how much value that holds. Just me.

Luke has more physical ability than Grossmann. He's faster and a better puck handler.

Grossmann is smarter and more positionally sound

Canucks will find a partner. Worst case scenario is we keep a very good 2 nd line center.

I think that's a fair deal. Schenn has a much higher ceiling than Grossman IMO. Wouldn't replace Josi but the package as a whole would be enticing id think.

Not at all ,I said on the first page Kesler to the Flyers doesn't make sense. You guys don't need a center.

But the other guy throwing out dumb comments was a bit overboard.

I would agree and also say Chicago as a third.

/doubt

Poile is in love with Josi like you wouldn't believe... compared him to a young Ryan Suter.

The only guy out of that group that the Flyers could conceivably shake loose is MDZ...
