Plenty of questionable calls for Rangers fans to be upset about. I kind of likey!!!!
- ravishingone

But honestly, the embellishment by Nash and Lundqvist leave me with no sympathy, considering their constant whining about embellishment by others.

He's not playing with a broken foot.
- bodiva88

He looks like he uses his size and strength more than he did here (when healthy). It's been a long time now though, and perhaps I'm misremembering his play here

Agreed, calls went both ways. Typical hockey ending, possible missed penalty, next shift opposing team comes down and scores. I want the Rangers swept out in 4, so I'm good with how it was officiated.

It's called diving
- Yosimar89

Oh, no, he's a Ranger. They never dive or embellish or anything. Ever.

Spotty performances before (I remember him being one of the better Kings players in the SJ game 7), but yea, pretty solid the past few as you say. While he is a "4th line center', Sutter does look like he spots him on the Carter line fairly often and such, maybe to get a favorable matchup here and there.

He's not a bad player...he just hadn't been the player the Flyers signed to that contract.

The concerns for the Kings moving forward are, does he move to 2nd line C? Can he provide play at this level consistently? How does the cap work after they re-sign gaborik & have to give big raises to Muzzin & Martinez...not to mention Stoll and Williams will need new deals soon-and althought they are older, it's hard to see the Kings letting them(especially Williams) walk

Good game. As expected, what looked like a penalty wasn't called, then the Kings score right after.

Hope the Rangers win the next 2.

and we all know jeff carter isn't much of a hitter

And I will say, that stick to his face earlier is the hardest I've ever seen a guy smacked in the face with a flat blade. Just a little angle and he'd have been bleeding for 4. (Or if he hadn't already lost those front teeth.)

Stoll is a perfect 3rd line center. Money at the dot, and adds just enough offense to keep opposing lines honest.

He looks alright on the wing with Carter when he gets those shifts. Maybe he settles there. Always seemed like an adaptable player. I know Carter was playing wing in LA for a while, but his game these days seems better suited down the middle for them

How are we moving grossman without eating money? W Mitchell, Greene, and a bunch of other guys will be on the market. They are better and cheaper.

Way to go, Kings. The Nash flop and CSP 'crushing' by Carter pissed me off.

Anyone else catch the irony of Edzo going off on a long spiel while throwing in the "sometimes less is more" line?

I hate the rangers more with every passing second.

Ed and Regis were horrendous tonight. Just vile.

Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed the back-and-forth about the puck over the glass for the entire stoppage. I was yearning for the return of the OT commercial break at that point.

I love Marty Biron, but I hate him commenting on this series. He should be in a Rangers uniform for all the balance he's providing.

a reach from a king stick that deflected a shot on csp was described as "creative brilliance". they lost me for the rest of the game from that point.
