Both are very prone to making dumb mistakes...but maybe it's worth a shot. - BashCH
It might force them to become a little more responsible...(Emelin when PK rushes or attempts a highlight reel hit...and Subban when Emelin leaves his spot to go for the hit...).

You could get more if you traded them separately. Gorges a mid to high pick, Plek woul prob get you a good young player and a pick. Why package them both for a guy who may very well be a "bust"? |

Taylor Hall?

I would add a top prospect and our first to pry Taylor Hall out of Edmonton.
Not gonna happen cause he's their best player, but he's my ideal player for the habs. |

A quick look at Gorges; signed for the next 4 years at a very affordable 3.9 mil. A leader in the room, defensively responsible and is a shot blocking machine. He has more value on the market than people here seem to think. |

Didn't had any choice this morning, had to be at Vanier College at 5 am...my boss couldn't make it.
It's not even noon but I feel like it's 4pm. |

Apparently Sharp is available in Chicago according to the Hawks thread - you think that'd be a decent replacement for Vanek? |

I doubt the Habs have anything to offer that the Hawks need. |

You never know...aren't they looking for a center ? (Plek/Eller +) |

agreed, but he's still at best a #4. we seem to have an abundance of those, and he would probably get the best return...what do you think is fair value? |

They need size at center.
The package would need to start with Eller.
Love Sharp, but he's 32. |

Yeah it would have to centre around either Eller or Plekanecs - they need a #2C according to JJ. Plekanecs+ for Sharp would be an interesting trade though...Bring up Gally to #2C and mitigates the loss of Vanek. |

They won't want Plekanec, they'll want Eller. |
