Christian Ehrhoff+ Joel Armia + Tyler Ennis for the 1st pick

Take Reinhart and Ekblad

- sbroads24

That's a lot to give up for a prospect
I happen to really like Armia though
And I think We can get a pretty good return for Ehrhoff +
Especially if that "+" happens to be someone like Ennis, Hodgson, etc

is this way off?? i could see a sabre fan not wanting to give up two roster players, but i didnt think it was an outlandish deal for the 3rd and a good pick next year.

and myers is not worth close to hall at present

- hugefemale dog77

You are so wrong , Defensemen take development . Myers has rounded the corner in his development . The only player we would move him for on your roster is Hall . Myer's can now take over games and has . Hall injury history is starting to get scary

Would u rather have Myers than Hall?
I'd take Hall any day
He's already a star, while Myers MIGHT be developing into one... I hope he is, but I wanna see him dominate for a full season & not just here n there before I'm convinced

You want to keep John Scott on the roster?

And here I thought you were better than that......

Guess that's what thought did cause that POS has zero business in the AHL let alone the NHL.

Can't skate
Can't pass
Can't shoot

No because we had a team of softies that Darcy built . Hopefully Tim builds a team with backbone .
- Maximum Signal

And he signed Scott who up until he signed with Buffalo never lost fight.

Dude is a POS waste of roster space.

Always has been, always will be.

This organization never needed him.

What they needed is a guy that could fight when needed and could skate a regular 8-12 shift a night. Something Scott has never been good at in his NHL career.

Ehlers, bennett, virtanen, nylander- theres guys in this draft if they wanna move back up.
- rover16

Move back up to the 12-17 range to take Alex Tuch if he's there.

My guess is Anaheim with the extra early pick takes him at 10 as he's compared to a Getzlaf type guy. What better team to take him.......

Hall has done that way more than Myers has thus far in their careers.

Myers Injury history isn't that great either.

Defensemen take longer to develop than forwards also . As touted as Jones was Mackinnon already can take over a game . Jones not so much . Myers is at the perfect age to lead this team when they are ready . Don't want to go through the learning curve all over again with Ekbald.

Hall is a smaller guy , when will these injuries start to add up on him ? He loses his speed and he loses his game . That is 60% of what makes him special. He never offered Hall for Myers . I would take that deal .

Sh!t he can't play hockey. It's ok, sh!t I can't swim.... I know I can't. So you what know I do?....... I stay my black ass out the pool.

(waits to see who gets that reference?)

He has pretty much zero offensive game and he looked horrendous when they tried him on defense, so I can see where you're coming from. He rarely hurt them as a forward though defensively and I like the idea of him if he is allowed to throw down if need be. It seemed to me like Nolan sort of neutered him last year. If they won't let him fight then I agree he should go.

If John Scott can transform into a passable 7th dman is the only reason we should resign him. Fighting alone is no reason to keep a roster spot. Other nhl players are not gonna waste their time by fighting a 15th foward who they rather skate circles around on the ice than fight. Hes too slow and offers nothing as a foward.

I like John Scott, but this makes a lot of sense.

Maybe TM won't employ an enforcer, but more team toughness. Maybe an UFA defensemen, Foligno, Deslauriers and Stewart that can all hold their own.

I would love to see TM move back into the first to grab Tuch. Syracuse native, USA NTDP player, and big bodied winger seems to fit what they are looking for. At some point TM has to consolidate picks as the logjam of prospects begins to build.

I watched quite a few of the Gophers games at the end of the season/NCAA tourney and I didn't see a Kassian type player other than size. He wasn't overly physical but was a mountain in front of the net. Great hands and a knack for being able to find the rebounds quickly. Looks slow when skating but shields the puck well. A freshman that played on the top line for a top program. I would say more Dave Andreychuk then Kassian.

Fasching has more offensive upside, better hands and more of an all around player than Kassian. Fasching will be a strong power forward that needs to work on his skating stride still, but has a very high ceiling! Love this kid

Seth Jones hasn't missed a beat either since coming into the league. As good as MacKinnon was, he was greatly helped by the team around him.

If the Sabres retain pick #31 and Thatcher Demko is still available, how many of you would like the Sabres to grab him? I was disappointed in Hackett's performance this season and have little faith in Enroth. Ullmark looks to have the most upside of what is left. I fear we build a great group of forwards and defense over the next 3 years and are left with below average goaltending.
