Just went to Modell's to see if I could pick up a new baseball glove for my son, as his exploded last night. I walked in and there is Ranger crap everywhere. I mean, the place is BLUE with t-shirts and what have you. I couldn't breathe. Kid will use his bare hands.

Gallagher will pop 30 and Chuckie 25 next season.
- BingoLady

Gallagher has peaked as far as production goes Imo. Unless he feeds off two elite guys that the habs simply don't have. Gallagher has terrible vision imo and is an energy guy that can chip in 20 goals. He is our current version of an overated Higgins from years ago.

Love Gallagher, but to think he will last playing the game he plays is about as delusional as the cup parade planned for Younge St every year.

You can't win with guys like Vanek and Pacioretty. They're slackers who disappear when the playoffs come around.

Hard to disagree after what we've seen in the last few weeks.

- Pecafan Fan

Easy for him to say, based on who he played with. He disappeared a lot too during his career. But the game was so different back then, because the disparity in talent between top teams and bottom teams was enormous.

I fail to see what Gallagher and Higgins have in common...

He's still young, I think he'll keep getting better.

Higgins was a cokehead, I don't think Gallagher has that in him.

I think he can be a regular 25+ goals scorer. What he'll gain in the next few seasons is consistency in his play.

Also, I wouldn't say he has terrible vision...through the course of his career so far he always had about the same amount of assists as he had goals.

His problem is that he's not the fastest skater...he improved a lot on that side, but he will never be the fastest guy.

If Gallagher remains a steady 20-25 goal scorer playing with girt and intensity i'm going to be sooooo pissed.

What a waste of a 5th rounder.

Actually Higgins is best compared to Eller not Gallagher. Higgins is a good skater and now that he has settled into his role as a 3rd-4th line penaly killer, he is doing fine. In Mtl her scored 20 goals 3 seasons in a row and expectations were set to high. He was always best in a defensive role like ELLER!

While you are correct, he did have 19 this past season, and 15 the season before in only 44 games.

Gallagher is a very good energy guy who can contribute offensively. He is an excellent spark plug. Every team in the league would take him.

Doesn't make him a steady 20/25 goal scorer.

I'm being an hass here... but I hate when fans say steady after half a season in the NHL... and although 19 is considered really close to 20.. .it's not 20 and even less 25.
