I think Patches under-performs since he is not willing to fight it out around the net/crash the net or anything of that sort. Nevertheless, he is one of if not the best scorers at his current price tag and locked up for many more seasons. Ideally on a great team he would be an amazing second line sniper, but right now he is MTLs first line guy and he does OK with it given that DD is always his center and the other wings changes all the damn time.

I'm fine with what we get out of Max at his price tag. He isn't a net crasher and likely never will be, people will have to except that. Or not. There is no doubt this team needs more net presence outside of what Gally brings though.
