Now that school's out for the year and he's not on here, I'm guessing stayinthefnnet is working on some sort of voodoo curse to keep Pierre far away from the Pens.

Pierre will use all available cap space to sign Richards

Everyone name a guy you feel the Flyers could buy low on, but will end up being very good. Please provide accurate compensation. Don't just name a guy and say "LETS GET HIM!"

I'd feel a lot more comfortable about moving Brayden Schenn if the Flyers had an affordable center option who could provide speed and depth.

Sooooo: Marcel Goc, 2 years, $2 million per, for a $4 million contract

Whoa whoa whoa, hold the phone, Buster Brown! Please reread your qualifications list:

Don't just name a guy and say "LETS GET HIM!"

I did not violate this, because I didn't "just name a guy" and say it, I listed valid compensation as well. No where did it state that the "LET'S GET HIM!" was completely off limits.

If Lecavalier is moved, they have Raffl and Laughton as Center options.

Are we then assuming that we keep Vinny as the 2C and Goc is on the 4th line?

Sidney Crosby. I don't think he has reached his potential yet.

I'm not a huge fan of Raffl at center and I don't know that Laughton doesn't need some time in the AHL first

I don't disagree with any of that. But they are center depth.

Yes -- mainly because we just might not be able to move Vinny and if you can't, the only thing that would make that worse is if they tried Schenn/Lecavalier/Simmonds again.

If you can't move Vinny, then get him a playmaking winger and pray for better days

As much as I hate to admit it, it's probably best that one of them moves. Schenn could potentially play as a wing on Vinny's line, but the team needs to make a commitment to playing him as a wing, none of this shuffling back and forth. If they want both of them to be centers, then one probably needs to go.

That's where I am -- I'm fine with having centers who can shift to the wing, but from what I saw last year, neither of those two players can do it well enough for it to be neutral or advantageous to the Flyers.

I would rather keep Schenn, as I've said. But at the very least, we all want a second line that can play and at least hold their own

interesting to bob's 5on5 sv pctg at the top of the heap over the last 3 years (behind rask barely).

i am really looking forward to watching mason this season. i think he'll be even better and hopefully the flyers can SOME kind of blueline improvements along with more commitment to team d.

i want a (frank)ing cup.
