It was a great series probably the best one in the last 15 years. Crawford had his struggles but its not like he was playing against the Sabres.

I think Crawford is an above average goalie which is all you need in this league especially if you are built like the Hawks.

Both re-sign. Hawk's challenge in this re-sign:

1. Quenville pairing Kane with players that keep up and finish his plays. They botched him this year, Versteeg, Handzus, etc. He was pacing top 3 league points all year until these moves were made.
2. Bowman getting some talent at center while being cap constrained by Toews and Kane's new contracts, somewhere in the $8-10 million a year level.



Chicago could have an off year or two waiting for the cap to rise along with our prospects.

Give Kane a decent center and wing and he could lead the league in scoring. As a Hawks fan I don't blame him for wanting the Hawks to get a legit #2C as he
has had a revolving door of line mates for the past 2 seasons. The Hawks need to listen to him because they need both Toews AND Kane if they want to continue to compete for the Cup for the next few years.

Kane is 25 yrs old. He's not some aging vet with no rings, who'll play for peanuts to finally get a cup. He just showed the hockey world, definitively, that he's the most talented, explosive, clutch player in the world. He is going to get PAID. Dominated a conference final on a line featuring bottom6 Shaw and a guy in 1st full season in league? yet he's treated like Deputy Strate to Toews' Boss (Ice)Hogg? If his agent can't get him 8 yrs for $10 mill per, a C on his chest, and a decent passing center, then maybe JayZ is ready to expand into hockey. Thats a no-brainer for Buffalo (and prob many others).
