It's very bittersweet for me though. I grew up here, I left at 20 for a year and a half and came back. Got married bought a house had a kid got Sabres season tickets. This move wasn't planned the job pretty much fell into my lap. I personally am not planning on being down there permanently I am hoping this leads to better things and gets me back up here.

You era didn't appreciate the original logo (given your age it makes sense) so thats why you like that one. It was better than the slug thats for sure plus you witnessed the Cup Finals in Buffalo in that jersey.

I'd believe it. I have a friend who works for Cablevision, which gets employee type "discounts" on Stanley Cup tickets...for $954. That being said, given that you probably can fly NY-LA nonstop relatively cheaply out of at least one of the 3 major NY area airports, it's not completely inconceivable given the different price points.

EDIT: maybe not. Cheapest roundtrip flight to LA for the day before and after game 2 is $632 according to Orbitz.

All of them? Myself and maybe 2 others? Too many supporters of Reinhart because he's been in the news one year longer. Slow and soft is what Darcy was fixated on and look where it's gotten us. A chance to draft a guy who can skate, with skills and has balls. I'll take that thanks.

If they wanted to change the logo I could have lived with it but changing the original colors so drastically didn't make much sense to me.

He went out of his way to sign John Scott and have him take up a roster spot because of one incident almost 1 year before. Problem was he didn't bring in many skilled players whether or not they had balls.

The majority of Darcy years were with teams with speed. It's the very end of his tenure where the team got slower, but also worse in just about every other area as well.
