Regardless of who won. What a great 7 game series that was. That Chicago came back and forced it to a game 7 that went to OT, shows how great of a team they are. LA is just so good in all areas of the ice. I really hope the Cup series can match this series. It was brilliant hockey.

Chicago should have won that game easily too many brain farts

there's little chance of the final being a great series. the rangers suck the life out of every game the play. it's just awful.

all we can truly hope for is that the kings crown king nothing, preferably in ny.

Agree with you, I thought the trapping Devils of the 90's were bad.

I don't know why Eli's glazed, stupid, "I don't know who the (frank) I am face" is plastered on this site.

This is my cue to shower and go to bed. I have a train to catch to Philly bright and early tomorrow for a day with the better half.

California Chrome was probably born in Philadelphia but traded to California, only to then go on to win the Triple Crown.

They do venture into the forecheck more, (than the ugly 90's Devils), but the neutral zone clogging, & constant shot blocking, (and no one ever get injured), is nauseating!

It does seem like "almost the same $hit", from what the Devils did, no scoring leaders, system, system, system, etc..

It's like Torts never left, (except for the screaming)..

we don't know that, we had issues clearing the puck out, & went long stretches w/o any shots, even though we took them to 7, there were times we we struggled in our zone big time

of course we don't know, but i'm confident they beat pittsburgh and montreal. and they lost by one goal in a game 7. they're obviously not a true cup caliber team...but are the rangers? really?

the rangers and bruins were the two teams the flyers needed to avoid. couldn't. still, a healthy mason, and i like their chances. he should have played game 3. that was the key game.

If only he was healthy.

The only thing I have been really pissed about is the morons in local media questioning Mason's toughness, when he had concussion symptoms the night before game 3.

why do so many retired hockey players heads well up to the size of bowling balls?
