How does that get through those players? I don't get it

It's why I wouldn't mind if they took another defenseman in the first round this year. Just (frank)ing load up and hope one becomes the man. A franchise defenseman can play in his prime for 13 years.

A lot has to do with the Flyers not valuing their 2-3-4 round picks over a seasoned vet to "win now". That just adds up over time. they could cover for that fact when they could spend more than the other teams and just eat salary or trade vets for picks.

it's a shame that somehow the 492 rangers players that are on the ice will block all of those shots and captain mattress won't have to stop any of them.

Oh please. They have one of the best balanced and skilled lineups in the league. They make their own luck.
- rockychocbill

I love this.

Of course it's lucky. Of course they're the cream of the crop. But the fact that that (lol 2 that's in a row) got through quite litrilly 12 legs is pretty lucky, good team or not.

Whatever. It's just blind rage at this point.

I changed my mind. Sutter looks more like Sam the Eagle than Coach Cabbage Patch.

Yeah. Once the playoffs start, #1 defenseman become so much more important. They log heavy minutes and are expected to produce points. McDonagh had 10 points in the Rangers last series. It was a low scoring series.

So many players lay out and block shots. It's very important to have a defenseman who can get pucks through to the net.

I feel like whoever wins this series is going to be my favorite hockey team for 2 weeks.

I will live and die with the Kings or, yes, even the Hawks, until the middle of June

the conference finals usually do, and the scf often feels like a bit of a let down, even if it goes 6 or 7.
