thats fine. its all done with. bottom line. i just dont think VL gets del zotto. - stayinthefnnet
I don't think you're alone either. You'd need other assets if you really want to get Del Zotto in a deal involving VL40 |

When the time comes, who would be the next owner of the team?
Does it stay in the Snider family?
The news of Mr Snider's cancer treatments makes me wonder about this. - Marc D

And probably to remove VL from the deal. |

Klein is not as good as Stralman is in my opinion. |

That'd sweeten it a bit
Or, the Flyers would need to pay for more than just 25% I keep seeing assumed on everyone's rosters involving him moved. |

someone in the last blog suggested simmonds for josi.
i dont think there is a way nashville could afford to turn that down. but that would be some gumption to part with simmonds. definitely some good food for thought there. i dont know how id feel about that as a flyers fan. |

I don't take anything personal. I like good conversation. But lots of time there is not logic. If you present something at least give a reason. just don't say no it can't/won't happen because it can't - J35Bacher
If you didn't take anything personally, then that's really scary, because you got really angry and upset and started with some personal insults. I'd hate to see you when you DO take something personally. I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt.
Lord knows I've taken stuff personally and flown off the handle a number of times on here. |

I'd only move Simmonds if it were part of a deal for a bonafide, proven #1 defenseman. Not a young up-and-comer, not a prospect who's never played a game of pro hockey. I want a guy who's established. Seeing as those guys are most likely not available, I want him here. |

definitely hard to like the notion of simmonds leaving. but josi helps them take a huge jump in a different area.
objectively, i dont know. its a hard one. but a damn good proposal. |

I could never be a GM.
I get too attached to these guys that do anything for the team to win.
For me Simmonds is a perfect Flyer, even with the holes in his game. |

I go back and forth on what I think about Simmonds, but I'd probably not do that deal. |
