Good job!! I can't imagine what their version sounded like
- paulr

FM was a great British blues band with Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Peter Green (best British blues guitarist, better than Clapton), Jetemy Spencer.

EDIT TO ADD: they all basically came out of Mayall's Bluesbreakers.

how is he supposed to hit him? on his knees?
- StayTunedMTC

If he can't hit him cleanly, he shouldn't be hitting him at all. Of course, there's always the option to play the puck....which was certainly not anywhere near Krüger's earhole.

Should have been 5/10/game, plus supplemental discipline.

He knew blues guitarists: first Clapton, who left to get into Cream; then Peter Green (the best of them all, IMO), who left to form Fleetwood Mac (and ingest vast quantities of hallucinogenic); then Mick Taylor, who went to the a Stones.

Its amazing how musicians moved around back then...the bass player on Jazz Blues Fusion was Larry Taylor who was the bass player for Canned Heat..

Joan Baez wrote Diamonds and Rust, one of her songs about her relationship with Dylan years before.

Hard truth #1 - The League wants LA versus NY. Like the goodfellas say, "Nothing personal, its business." Oh yeah, they could package that with a triple crown Belmont featuring a Cali horse running at a NY track. Thats serious business baby. Get used to a steady dose of those blatant trips and fwd interferences and constant stick slashes, cause they aint getting called.

Hard truth #2 - very entertaining OT last night (that 8min stretch w/out a whistle, whew), but both teams in the east will beat either of these teams. Top six looked good on both sides (it took Hawks 5 games to find a 2d line? Really!!?). But the eastern teams can neutralize that and have far better bottom 6. Goal play out east has been superior to the unconfident scuffling from Quick/Crow. Plus get your backups ready - running the goalie is SOP in east.

Hard truth #3 - quote from Kane after game 5: "Personally I thought

- meta_puck_luck[Saad] was the best player on the ice." This on a four assist night? Translation: "am i really helping this kid put the nail in the coffiin of my bro Sharp? Am I punching my own ticket to Buffalo?"

It was very easy to form a "supergroup" like Cream or Blind Faith and get a recording contract - but the groups usually didn't stay together very long (except for Fleetwood and McVie) because other than virtuosity, there was nothing holding the groups together.
