Why do you waste this blog with stupid posts?

What ever happened to Mills? He looked to be a pretty good penalty killer till he suffered a foot injury. I am not saying he belongs on the team, just curious if he was still in the system.

Haha, thx Phil, showing my age, Orr would've been my guy, followed by Bryan Trottier
- John Jaeckel

Orr was the best of the best I think. My second favorite was also Trottier, up until a few years ago my favorite Blackhawk was Steve Larmer, Toews may have taken that mantle.

When he first came to the Hawks allot of people compared Toews to Trottier.

yep...I will take emerick/edzo over the LA Kings Broadcasting Network anytime. I turned'em off and listen to the radio guys despite the delay between radio and tv

Bob Miller and Jim Fox are the LA Kings broadcasters, NOT the bums you have been hearing. Just Saying

He didn't get back into play until February. Honestly, I love Millsy. However, he's more organizational depth than anything. The Hawks needed someone early in the season to help kill penalties until the kids could step up, and that's happened. So he's really not needed in Chicago at this point.

He's a free agent this summer. If he can find another team to give him a two-way deal, I'll be happy for him. I just don't see the Hawks giving him one to take up a spot under the 50 player contracts umbrella. If he does come back, it will more than likely be on an AHL deal, and he'll help mentor the kids in Rockford.

He was hurt for awhile....think it was a stress fracture. I don't know how much he played after he was healed up.

They moved Strader out because they bumped up Albert to #2.

Hey Al great read as always...caught you on the Game the other night...

Surprised about Strader really think he calls a good game.

I can't imagine Versteeg sees the ice again in the series. Morin?

Q might stick with rosy just because he's played this whole series. Wasn't too bad last night IMO.

It's a fair bet that Versteeg is out, the only question is who replaces him. My money is on Regin, but it could be Morin.

Rozy wasn't too bad, I actually liked the new d-pairings last night.

Nothing legal about it. Interference all night long. I saw the Sutter coached Sharks beat the heavily favored Blues in a series around 1999 or 2000. The Blues broke out of their zone from their high slot to the right wing at the blueline. The weak side left wings were flying and were looking to see what play to make because when the Blues got the puck to the center line they threw it over to the left wing. All series long. No matter what. But early on Sutter adjusted. Passive pressure on the Blues breakout but his right wing knocked the Blues left wing on his ass at his own blue line. Phuckin dropped him. So when the pass came across the ice the left wing was still picking himself up. And the puck turned over and away the Sharks went. And that was all series long. I laughed my ass off. This was before the 2004 lockout and it was a different game then. So who was the Blues coach who got tooled? Not gonna go there. But don't bother to ask any of the kool aid drinkers because they don't know. And they don't want to.

Duh, some riddle. That was 13 years ago, if they're still coaching NHL they've probably progressed. They would have to in Sutters case, he's coached more teams to nothing until 2010 than many.

because I know it makes you happy.......just like when you stated last night "Shaw is now the leader of this team"

You really don't think he played a big part in the win last night and would be thought as of a leader along with Saad???

Call me nuts.....but if they are going to scratch Versteeg for sure, and play Regin....I would almost rather see Brookbank play in place of Bolig and give them a 7th D man to negate the Kings.

That's my comment of the day.....enjoy.

Thanks..

I like Strader but my problem with Albert is the color man.

I would say 98% sure no Morin He hasn't played in a very long time so Q. won't use him unless no choice.

Regin most likely....Next man up is Nordstrom.

As much as Roszival wasn't good in games 2-4, he held his own last night.

Probably not going to play 6 dmen let alone 7...

And the script may be the same with the forwards and that means 9 will play.

I think he played great last night....but I wouldn't go as far to say he is the leader of the team.
