And that is the 2nd point, after the top 4 dman, we were saying last year at this time. They need to get bigger. Gionta is gone, let see if they can trade Briere. Slowly but surely...

Doubt anyone wants Briere?

I want to make one point but before I do I want to congratulate Montreal on an awesome series and amazing playoff run. A lot to be excited about in the future with the great young players on that team.

The point I want to make is, I think tokarski did you all a favor with the way he played. He was outstanding. He lost 1-0 to one of if not the best goalie in the world. And it wasn't just tonight. He was amazing since he got the call. What im trying to sayis, he played so well, that you don't have to keep saying to yourselves " what if we had Price?" Over and over again all summer.

Awesome series.

We all consider that Price around here, but apart from that I agree. The kid was unreal, and didn't leave anyone wanting more.

Except for a couple of defensemen, Timmins hasnt exactly stockpiled any foward help in Hamilton..To think we Had McDonagh and Kreider was right there for the taking, kinda like when Getzlaf and Perry fell and TT took Kostitsyn..

Don't forget latendrasse and Leblanc

m'eh - go backread. The whole team plays different with him in net. A lot less collapsing, better breakouts etc.

Tough to deal with. I actually thought he played really well in the playoffs, but it seems like he rubs Therrien the wrong way. If he isn't going to get the minutes and the assignments to make him useful there's not much point in having him around.

After game Subban was asked to take a pic with little boy in a Rangers jersey. Picked up the kid with a smile. True class after a tough loss

You know what, I think we needed many bounces to eliminate Boston and Nyr needed them to eliminate us. Galchenyuk with the cross-bar in game 4 and Lundqvist's flailing blocker save tonight are 2 perfect examples that change games drastically. When you get this far and the teams are evenly matched, sometimes that's what it comes down to. Congrats to a Rags for a deserved win. The most exciting thing for me as a Habs fan is that I think the 2010 run was a bit of smoke and mirrors whereas this one feels like one they really deserved and could potentially duplicate in next 2-4 years.

Plek traded to NJ to play with Jagr, and we get Gelinas + in return? Is Gelinas right D?

Don't know, but I would prefer a more experienced player, with Beaulieu and Tinordi coming up, we have enough kids back there.

Yea for sure. Be shocked if they miss playoffs next 2-3 years. But then anything can happen. Could go deep or be like last year a demloshing in 1st round.

If that happens, then they are counting the good karma for intelligent moves like acquiring Weise and Weaver.

Bergevin is from Chicago. He saw how teams were built and plays in the west. We will see what he will do this summer.

Disagree! Bring that kid any day of the week. Doubt NJ makes that deal though.
