I'd like to see for next year.
Moen: gone
Gorges: gone
Markov: gone, to slow and old.
Gionta: gone
Vanek: gone, useless.
Plekanec: Gone, has good value and we need to get bigger.
Bouillon: Gone or as 7th D man.
Desharnais: Gone, hardest working habs center in the playoffs but his small size was evident in the playoffs.
Murray: Gone, to slow.
We need to make changes. Even if the habs would of make the stanley cup final, they would of lost in 4 against L.A or Chicago. It's time we make this team bigger. We need to be able to compete against teams like L.A., Chicago, St-Louis, Anaheim, San Jose, Colorado. - ShafterBenRaide
I disagree about DD. Won his puck battles. His wingers didn't do the job.

So a goal better?, ok.
News flash:
The forwards didn't score a god damn goal tonight Scott.
They lost 1-0 hardly Dustin's fault.
So Price keeps it 0-0?
They gonna play until......the Rangers finally score? - pete26
Pete, you're missing the point, no one is blaming Tokarski. Best player on the ice tonight for both teams IMO. But ya Price would have forced the Rags to play a bit more cautiously which may have offered MTLs D some time to make some plays instead of getting run over. |

To be fair, a good chunk of those were likely coming this summer before the season even started |

Plek is one of the more underrated players in the league... not sure why you would want him gone.
DD is small, but worth keeping; if he was 1 or 1 of 2 small guys its not a problem. He played extremely well when Pac and Vanek were on his wings and their bodies cleared space and time for him. He is a solid #2 center and an OK #1 with the right wingers.
The rest I agree could go and others could fill their roles easily. - nords21
Plekanec isn't underrated. The other teams know what he can bring to the table, but he poops the bed in the playoffs. Don't hesitate to trade him if you can get a winger for Galchenyuk. |

When everyone has been saying that about him since 2008, how can he be underrated? |

If he gets you Kane, sure. But to say he shat the bed when he is given poopty wingers and all the toughest defensive assignments, you're insane. |

I agree with everything except Pleks and DD. We'll never replace them in a trade. Have to wait for prospects to develop before you ship them out. - ehabs9
With them gone, We have Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Gallagher next year as first line.
Time to give Galchenyuk a lot more ice time. And even if we suck, we have McDavid waiting at the draft
We need to move forward with our rookies. I like for example how Columbus is improving. Their best players are all around 20 yrs old. And they will be adding Rychel this year. We need to start doing the same and built a contender. Bigger, faster and younger. |

I so hope we're through with the DD bashing that occured all year long... Sure he's small, but he was still our best center during these series. DD
Now, if they can get him to grow 6'' during the summer, it would be perfect! |

Look, I'm not an irrational slack-jawed fan's fan, but Kreider's hit on Price was semi intentional and OBVIOUSLY it would have been a much different series. Arguing about what Price would have done different in today's game is irrelevant because there might not even have been a game 6, or if their was the momentum might have been all Habs. |

Galchenyuk a poopty winger? Time for Plek to be traded and get us some young guy in return. Bergevin has made some good trades, lets see what he can do this summer. |

I get the feeling people used underrated to describe anyone who isn't extremely offensive. He's a fantastic 200 foot player, and people for some reason call him underrated to draw attention to that fact. |
