well all of the dmen sucked. Subban stunk tonight as well. every player aside from Tokarski played lousy. every single one. they were dominated.
- DoubleDown

They were sucked in and smothered by the great, stinking vaj that is NY suck AIDS. Be afraid LA. Be very bored and afraid.

Shut your mouth. Nobody with 5 braincells to their name ever said otherwise.

I'm not mad. This was a great run, and this team will only get better.¸

And (frank) off to the ones blaming the refs. Grow the (frank) up.

- EssuieToutJeune

Thats how I view it. Three AHL/ish players and a lot of young talent performing extremely well all playoffs, I assume that Montreal is on the up. Looking forward to seeing Galchenyuk on the ice more than 13min/game next season and all those young guys with 1 more season and a deep playoff run under their belts.

Whoever comes out of the West would have steamrolled either of these teams...

So we all agree Price to edmonton for Hall? Toker our starter?
- BingoLady

Probably not
But it makes you realize that finding a goalie is not as difficult as finding a big #1 center...

Exactly my point.

Awful...in a way almost glad they lost so that I don't have to watch another awful performance like that until the fall...

Briere and Vanek suck. Beaulieu was a big disappointment tonight.

- number_23

I actually can't think of a game where Briere sucked. There were times he wasn't amazing, but he played hard and well all playoffs.

Weise, Weaver, Eller, Subban, Markov (same contract - 3 years 15M)

Trade Plekanec and Gorges/Emelin for a winger for Galchenyuk, who will be ready to be the Habs' #2 centre next year.

Test the waters for Tokarski.

Get what you can for Vanek's rights.

Don't resign Gionta.

- EssuieToutJeune

That'll be slim to none. Lots of stuff needs to fall into place.

I'd like to see for next year.

Moen: gone
Gorges: gone
Markov: gone, to slow and old.
Gionta: gone
Vanek: gone, useless.
Plekanec: Gone, has good value and we need to get bigger.
Bouillon: Gone or as 7th D man.
Desharnais: Gone, hardest working habs center in the playoffs but his small size was evident in the playoffs.
Murray: Gone, to slow.

We need to make changes. Even if the habs would of make the stanley cup final, they would of lost in 4 against L.A or Chicago. It's time we make this team bigger. We need to be able to compete against teams like L.A., Chicago, St-Louis, Anaheim, San Jose, Colorado.
