As disappointing as it is, was an awesome run. Much further than anyone gave us credit for.

We'll always have the Price excuse

- ehabs9

Maybe they ran out of gas for this one? Yes it was a good run, but I expected more from them tonight.

Great run it was.

There will be no Price excuse.

Never seen a team win not scoring a goal.

- pete26

I was talking in terms of the series, but it was also a joke. Gotta get past obstacles.

@EricEngels difference in the series was game 1 plus Price injury. As well the Habs skill guys did not adapt to brutal ice in New York

Agreed. It'll be over in 5 or 6.

I don't agree. You're underestimating this Ranger team. I HOPE they get poopcanned, but I see it going 7 against either LA or Chi.

Which would be a shame because we've been getting great first and second round hockey but it sucks when the Finals isn't a clash of titans.

Makes you wish they had a 1 to 16 playoff format but the players would hate the travel schedule for it.

Ya I think la wraps it up as well

LA is on a roll almost as impressive as when they won the cup. The most impressive thing is that Chicago isn't done by a long shot.

The west is so much stronger. I don't see how the Rangers or Habs really had/have any hope anyway unless Kings Hawks beat each other down completely.

They had what 2 decent opps on 18 shots? They got outplayed badly. But hey I was happy to see 4 PO games and they played 17

Tokarski played too well for the price injury to be brought into this imo.

Game two go down 2-0 at home. Also MSL ot goal CP would have had it.

Price would have won the series easily.

If they get Chicago, they have a bit better chance because they win the goaltending battle hands down but against the Kings, the Rangers already crappy offense will be stifled.

Unless they run the goalie that is.

I think you're underestimating the Western teams, they're both a tier above. That series is the true SCF in my heart.

While I agree it looks that way...it has for a long time and yet eastern teams do win now and then

m'eh. Game 2 to go down 2-0 was key. He cost us that game.
- BingoLady

He also gave u a chance to win in game 3, 4 and tonight.
2 of those u were outplayed.

Point is; blaming the series on kreider and losing price is bs
