Pratice in the rain, you play on dirt for the rest of the season.

Cancel 1 training and keep the grass for the rest of the year.

You clearly have no real-world experience with 7 year olds...I assure you it doesn't take monsoon rains for no more than about 1 of them to ruin something like grass.

That pretty much left hockey.

It was a clever ruse.
