It's worse than that. Many people who live on LI, have parents who were staunch Ranger supporters, because there was no other team. Their kids are most likely Ranger fans as well, living on LI, with Isles fans right next door. It's nasty.

what about the Devils? why do they even exist?

Doughty > McDonaugh......I guess but not much. But Girardi and Staal trump the LA D. You talk about the group of forwards the Rangers haven't seen yet....but how about the speed of the Ranger forwards. L.A has not seen that yet either.

Quick has not been great...at all.

Rangers in 6.

- StormCloud

Voynov and Muzzin have been better than Staal.

speaking of the rangers, do you think we should petition the canadiens to remove gainey's number from the rafters until after mcdonagh retires?

They won a few Cups. They are meaningless to Isles fans, but Ranger fans do despise them - especially Brodeur.

you're just trying to piss Howard off aren't you LOL
- DoubleDown

No.

I actually think the Rangers have a better chance than most give them credit for.
Nash Kreider Stepan
St. Louis Richards Hagelin
Brassard Zucc Pouliot

That's a very good, very fast and deep top 9.

Plus their 4th line of Boyle,Moore and Dorsett (or Miller) isn't going to hurt you.

seriously...they are (frank)ed.

They'll get some help next season, but still, there are no superstars in the making in that team...

Anyway, superstars don't spend a lot of time in the AHL.

Nevins, Thrower, Crisp, Hudon, Bennett, Carr and De La Rose will make their pro debut

McCarron maybe, if the Habs don't decide to send him back to London.

They would have also Bozon, but who knows if and when he'll be ready to play again.

- stinger67

Mind boggling to see no forward depth at all.

And yet Timmins is a God !

Maybe you should add the Rangers to your favorite teams list. Can never have too many.

their speed is incredible. #1 reason they beat Montreal, more so than Lundqvist IMO. Montreal is by no means a slow team and they had no answer.

and yet if Galchenyuk, Bournival and Gallagher were there we'd be talking about how much forward depth the organization has. perspective, Marty, perspective. those are three guys 21 and under. most guys are in the AHL at their age.

They do. He wasn't playing in the CHL when he was drafted...so they can do like the Devils did with Matteau, and have him play with their farm team at 19.
