better goaltending... right now ya. but Quick has the ability to match HL. if he steps his game up, the goaltending could be a wash. but going in, i do agree.
better defence? i don't think so... i think the Ranger defence is about to see a group of forwards unlike anything the East has to offer and their defencemen are going to get roughed up.

i think this will be a long series if Quick maintains his current level of play. but if he steps it up, i think it could be a "Quick" series.

It's worse than that. Many people who live on LI, have parents who were staunch Ranger supporters, because there was no other team. Their kids are most likely Ranger fans as well, living on LI, with Isles fans right next door. It's nasty.

True. There was that scare back in the early 2000's when they made the ECF twice in a row, but thankfully the cosmos realigned and sent Toronto stumbling back to loserdom where they belonged.
