Maybe he'll stay in London another season, on a less packed team and play more

either that, or the Habs will have him graduate in AHL at 19

I didn't think was an option, doesn't he have to stay in junior? or is it different because he's American?

Lucic didn't put up any numbers until his last season of Jr.

He spent the preceding years working on his "spear to the nuts" manoeuvre.

I was kidding...it was just a little sarcasm.

having the 26th pick over the 27th doesn't exactly fills me with joy at the moment...

A pick over 20 in the first round isn't exciting, especially since everyone has been saying this year is a weak draft.

As for McCarron, I'm willing to give him time, but he has looked horrible so far.

I don't watch junior hockey, except at xmas, so I cannot evaluate the kid. But I was pretty impressed by what I've seen of him at training camp back in September. He's exactly what this team needs. Let see how he does at the next one.
I believe this was the first time he played a full 70 games season, before that he played like 40 games a year. Give him time, reports say he's pretty strong up there, a bit like Gallagher.

Probably because he was playing in the NHL at 19 not his last two seasons in juniors

We have a pretty much a full bowflex gym at the house. That's good enough for me.

They can play him in the AHL at 19 because McCarron wasn't in the CHL when he was drafted

That's a nifty little loophole

I'd like to see him do one more year in London. Likely move up to the top 6, and it's a good organization to learn in. Hamilton is still a mess, not much to gain from going there right now
