So Lucic gets scolded for threats...and Dan gets laughies?

You are totally biased Howard...

they're a faster, physically stronger team and they dominated some stretches.

my point is that the habs didn't give it away, the rangers earned the series.

(frank) I'd punch you in the mouth so hard right now.

- dt99999

Agree, not the last part, but I do agree.

Habs got beat by a better team, stronger and faster.

No shame though, great run they had

so the goalie helped them out?

explain to me then how the rangers would have fared without lundqvist.

- dt99999

Lundqvist did his part, as did Price v. B's. Neither made the difference. The teams that played better won, as is almost always the case.

i thought last night was the only lopsided game where one team dominated. i know everyone will point to game 1 but that was a 2-1 game through 39 minutes, Montreal had dominated in the second period after the NYR had dominated the first. 2 quick goals on an injured Price and then that's it. but last night... wow. that was as complete a performance by any team as we saw all year. Montreal had maybe 7 scoring chances. and i think that's being overly generous.

So far, only one of these 2 showed up in the playoffs.

I'll let you figure out which one.

- Pecafan Fan

oh please. they're vastly different players and like any winger, they depend on a centreman to get them the puck. Desharnais worked hard throughout the entire run. he worked really hard. but he produced poop. 8 points in 17 games, last of which was an ENG tap in. he was vastly outplayed by Stepan. why does he get a pass for 8 points while Pacioretty is ripped to (frank)ing pieces for his 11 points?

Desharnais is miscast as a #1 center, and we all know it.

As far as Pacioretty is concerned, see my location.

Yep. They played better. I don't think they ARE better, just like I don't think the Habs are better than your crappy, annoying, sucky team. But they most definitely played better.

Oh, and sorry for the unkind words. Bitter this morning.
