my hate for them has dissipated pretty quickly. even Kreider... i mean if it was Dale Weise barreling into Lundvist, i'd have been happy as poop.

Therein lies a big difference...their guys that are big and crash the net are in the top 6... our big guys who "sometimes" crash the net are on the 4th line...

2 of the games went to overtime
they won a game in which they scored 7 goals
they lost the last game 1-0

did you expect a 4 game sweep which each game finishing 5-0?

they were outmatched in some areas and yeah some guys had bad series. same thing on the other side but to say they didn't show up and gave the series away is ridiculous.

ban yourself for 4 hours and spend the time hanging your head in shame.

i thought last night was the only lopsided game where one team dominated. i know everyone will point to game 1 but that was a 2-1 game through 39 minutes, Montreal had dominated in the second period after the NYR had dominated the first. 2 quick goals on an injured Price and then that's it. but last night... wow. that was as complete a performance by any team as we saw all year. Montreal had maybe 7 scoring chances. and i think that's being overly generous.

No, I did not expect a 4 game sweep of 5-0 victories... but I expected a better effort. The only reason the series appears to have been that close is because of Tokarski...without him or a Price at the top of his form, the Rangers win in 4 straight by a landslide.
- TouenneTiiTree

so the goalie helped them out?

explain to me then how the rangers would have fared without lundqvist.

Kinda sucks that Price was injured (again).

The games would have been different.

who knows. but he would not have made a difference last night. that game could have gone 6 OTs deep and Montreal was not scoring.

That's not the point. And you know it. Our goalie stood on his head and made this series appear much closer than it really was. Did you not watch the game? for 4 of the 6 games it looked like the habs were standing still while the rangers were flying by.

So far, only one of these 2 showed up in the playoffs.

I'll let you figure out which one.

they're a faster, physically stronger team and they dominated some stretches.

my point is that the habs didn't give it away, the rangers earned the series.

11 pts in 17 games

or

10 pts in 10 games

Time will tell on these two...but for now, it sure looks like Kreider is a better playoff performer...
