My guess.....shoulder injury from PK hit.

No...I'm not blaming PK. But it was PK's fault.

You want a week, or a month? I can do either/both.

Vanek was the first to leave the ice.

Probably already on the phone hiring a firm to clean up his hotel room and pack his things up.

Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even show tomorrow to the "post-mortem" of the team.

- stinger67

Did Vanek's Agent brings up "contract status" while Habs were in the middle of playoff run ??

PK was horrible last night...was running around Rangers players and forgetting about the puck.

They need to find him a defense partner that can play with him, and log the same amounts of minutes he does night in night out.

This constant switching between Markov and Gorges isn't working.

7km in a Mountain with obstacles.

Running is to boring, anything above 10km is just to long.

He will get his money and term. Maybe instead of 8 years, he will get 7, 6 or even 5. You think he really cares? He already made enough money to last several lifetimes.
- hscesq

This last playoff run showed me that's the only thing he cares about.

In all fairness, I think I like Subban now. I could live without a thing or two, but an incredible talent and good dude. Funny.

You guys had a good run. Lots of positives.

Vanek wasn't the same after he was part of the carnage of that PK hit in the Boston series (I think it was that series). He left the ice for a period or so and came back.

If I had to hazard a guess, I think it was a shoulder injury. Had a few times where he could have shot and passed off the puck. He was still pretty good at redirecting the puck but he wasn't the same.

I'm going to root for whatever team comes out in the Western Conference.

The thought of Benoit Pouliot winning a Stanley Cup induces a gag reflex.
