Ruslan Fedotenko and Bruno Gervais were the most disappointing signings to me since Geoff Sanderson and Randy Robitaille. I knew that we weren't making the playoffs before the ink was dry on their contracts last season.

Rusty was one of the few guys that actually played decent hockey on that crap team.

Do you know that pouliot is 50th in the league in points per 60? And he has a solid two way game. Very similar to this guy on the flyers named matt read.

At least the flyers can finish the off season with only 4 or 5 moves. pens have like hundreds of possible scenarios. I can only imagine the manifestos people are writing up to complete their armchair rosters on the pens board.
- FlyersSteve118

eh. ive learned to never doubt the flyers when it comes to potential moves. hate em, but they are without a doubt one of the most interesting teams in all of sports.

and the pens? christ i think they have like 5 people signed

I'd love to see this series go seven games.
- Marc D

I want every series to go 7 games. The more games the more revenue the league gets. The more revenue and the higher the salary cap.

Regis: What a great play by Tokarski to be in a position to track that puck. What a battler.

Edzo: I'd like to see the book on a goaltender who's not a battler.

Regis: Well there are some who would battle so hard to be in that aggressive position to make that save.

Edzo (While Regis is still talking): Yeah well he wouldn't be in the NHL then if he wasn't a battler

Regis: k

(frank) the Rangers. That's a terrible (frank)ing hit. The Prust hit wasn't anywhere NEAR as bad.

that they are. depth is always going to be an issue with them. hopefully they realize the importance of young guys on cheaper contracts.

Edzo saying how the hit wasn't an elbow...he just "followed through"

Who gives a (frank). It was a blindside hit to the chin. Stop trying to sugar coat it.

So they have pieces to trade at the deadline for the cup runs?

At least that's one thing the flyers never really do. Picking up rentals for a playoff run always bothered me.

same. the concept of rentals really bother me. you really need to pick your spots wisely. and especially now, with the market the way it is, the prices are usually outrageous.

if you give up significant assets, you need to have some interest in resigning them, a la amac.

Edzo crying about that hit on Zookerello now. "What a dangerous hit. No way he could protect himself."

Even put the "oh no" as it happened in real time and an "ooff" in there during the replay.

We can now insert a cactus into the man's anal cavity. He's reached that point.

Yeah exactly. The stuff that really boggles my mind are Ryan Miller type deals where significant assets are traded. And half the time the rental player seems to ruin the chemistry of the team. It's crazy how cheap vanek and gaborik were this year though
