I think the Rangers can win the cup.
- Pixote Andolini

I thought St Louis was going but chicago destroyed them and right now LA has them on the ropes in that one... One thing about ritchie and carter they knew how to take out NY while they were here.

CSP ties Mike Richter (current record all-time with NYR) with 41 playoff wins.

and yet he's never been to a cup final.

Against the Hawks or Kings? They would have to be extremely lucky. But they have been so far this year anyway.

Wow. How did they not get it out of the zone there. Horrendous

Kind of crazy that 4 out of the 5 teams in the old Atlantic division have been to the cup finals in the past 6 years.

I honestly think they can do it. The Hawks and Kings are both big, strong, fast, and deep. The Rangers style of play frustrates teams a ton. Their board work is up there with the Kings board work.

not over yet, but probably. they lose price. tough to expect them to pull this out. truthfully, tokarski has been great, and they're not down 3-1 because of him. the habs are coming up woefully short. you can't go 1-8, including 1 early in the ot and expect to win. you have to score at least 2 or maybe 3 times here.

Meh, I don't think any team they've seen in the East is on par with either team in the West.

I hate how they play and I hate them because they're the New York Rangers. I loathe Staal and Girardi.

Yeah that's the popular consensus. I thought it too but seeing them push on in the playoffs I think they have a shot.

Gionta hasn't scored in 13 games
Vanek has been a negative this series
The Habs were not good tonight and a bit lucky to get to OT

they're lucky because their best players are generally sucking. that said, they were a crossbar away from preventing OT.

that shot went off the knob of CSP's stick and then hit the crossbar
very lucky for the rags there

Briere was one of the more dangerous fwds for the Habs tonight. He gets limited ice time though and not too much help.

Yeah the knob of CSP's goalie stick also stopped a sure Hartnell blast in the Flyers series.

and then bounced down 1" off the line and out. it could have angled in, or hit csp's skate or leg and gone in. nope. not him.
