Hockey Karma. Don't expect it to all go your way when you end their star goaltenders season on a reckless play skating into the kid at 100mph. Habs should have broke Kreiders jaw

Lets go Habs

Please send this memo to Dorsett

I fully expect Dorsett to be targeting Briere, Gallagher, and Plekanec.
Throw in Subban for laughs.

Dorset on the ice against Subban. That's smart coaching. Not to mention He wouldn't even be able to touch let alone move Subban. Few players in the league get touched as little as Subban. There's a reason for it.

Prust on the ice vs first line? Was there a reason for it. Works both ways. Besides , like Prusts predatory hit when Subban isn't expecting it is when he'll get it.

Ok good point about line matching. But Stepan is a fwd. PK cruises through the neutral zone far less often. And when he does. No one can touch him. It's a waste of time to go after him. They'll more likely go after Desharnais or Max P. Fully expect that tonight. And you know what? An eye for an eye. Keep your head up on both sides tonight.

Better win tonight then. Because if the rangers lose tonight, they're in very big trouble.
- scotch_tape

Very big? No. Does it turn into a toss up? Yes. Don't forget, it's not like the Rangers can't win in Montreal.

Ya no doubt. Home ice not so big yet. But it's a bad situation I think we can agree.

So sick of waiting in this series.

After watching the Prust hit on Stepan about 500x's I have come to the conclusion that the hit was prob one of the most unnecessary things that he had to do. Prust was obviously looking to get his team riled up but the way he went about doing it was horrible. Listen I have played hockey for 22 years and I am a national champion and now I coach a High School hockey team. I see hits like that all the time and it just doesn't need to happen. Whether he targets the head or not when you are skating that fast and Stepan got rid of the puck way in enough time for Prust to not follow through with such a late hit and I emphasize this, I have problem with that. I also hated the fact that he basically launched his body like a missile to Stepans chest/chin. It's blatant blindside hit thats very late and it doesn't need to happen. Oh btw it was so late that no ref saw the hit cause the play was already down ice, that's why everyone missed it. I don't know how anyone can defend Prust on that hit. I know it's the playoffs and emotions run high but I just don't get how Prust can honestly sit there and say he didn't have intentions of hurting anyone with a hit like that. You're actions showed something totally else. Just my 2 cents.
- adwolf130

not that I care about either team..but what happened to 1-2-3 after the puck leaves the stick? The league has totally lost all aspects of "taking the man" - stupid penalties when I guy chips it around the D...the D takes him 1/2 second after and gets called...that's pathetic..as Prusts...was a 1-2 count then HIT. Stepan should keep his head up and not be gazing at his pass. IMHO. It's the NHL playoffs - expect to be hit every time you have the puck...NO? Also Kreider was tripped into Price..accident.

No. Not agreeing. If Montreal wins then you wipe the slate clean and call it a best of 3 with the Rangers being the better road team than they are at home. I am confident the Rangers win comfortably tonight, they rally aroud Step and Hank is Hank. I just think this Rangers team has more mental toughness than people know. The Habs with all of their head games know this and are attempting to play cards from the bottom if the deck.

Can't wait for tonight.

Not really. It's not like anyone respects your franchise, or your fan base. One cup in almost 75 years is still f***ing embarrassing anyway you slice it.

This coming from a franchise that people laugh at and mock. A franchise that cant draft or attract free agents. Good grief

How did AV threaten anyone on the Canadiens? His statement implies that if Brassard is targeted by the Habs then the league should punish Therrien and I agree. Gamesmanship is one thing. Knowing that a player is hurting, vulnerable and your players going after that guy is one thing also. However opening his pie hole and announcing to the world that they know and suggesting they will be targeting Brass is irresponsible and foolish. Therrien absolutely deserves a fine just for that; a suspension should Brassard appear specifically targeted tonight.
- gkmkiller

funny how you extrapolate what the coaches say just to prove your point ... so AV saying MT is in trouble means he's in trouble with the league, but MT saying he knows where Brassard is hurt means he puts a target on him?

OK, what if I think what AV implied is that if something happens to Brassard, he will personnally go to MT with a gun and empty the charger, but on the other hand, MT only meant that since he knew where Brassard is hurt, he'll tell his players to go softly on him

See how I changed it up?

Only cause Therrian has set the tone. But careful, he's known to backtrack.
