well the hyperbole is certainly an added element, but he is right in that everything started there. Stepan doesn't get hit if Price doesn't. i think we can all agree on that.

I guess it did work and evidently Therrien is a little sensitive. Wee lad. So is "we know where he is injured" a violation of a written rule? It's one thing thin to tell your players in private that a player is injured and maybe go to work on it it's another thing to make it public.

The only thing AV said was he didn't know why Driscoll had to put his hands on Carcillo. He never said he didn't deserve 10 games in fact he did admit he went too far. He just questioned how it was handled on the ice. Not even close to mr wishy washy Montreal Michel.

im a Habs fan and i think both teams are behaving a bit ridiculously, and i chalk it up to this ridiculous schedule. 1 game in 5 days in a playoff series?

Montreal about Kreider, Rangers about Brassard and Stepan. if you think Montreal is a disgrace, then you also think your own team is a disgrace because they are acting the same way. don't be so blinded by allegiance.

Knowing that a player is hurting, vulnerable and your players going after that guy is one thing also. However opening his pie hole and announcing to the world that they know and suggesting they will be targeting Brass is irresponsible and foolish. Therrien absolutely deserves a fine just for that; a suspension should Brassard appear specifically targeted tonight.

Expecting Kreider or any skater in that spot to somehow defy physics and avoid a collision is ridiculous. Had that happened to Hank sure, we'd be upset but blaming the player for losing an edge after a defender whacked him in the leg makes no sense whatsoever. Unfortunately those plays have happened to Hank, some in fact were intentional, but fortunately Hank has avoided injury.
