Stepan was released from hospital last night and is not on the ice for the morning skate.

This just illustrates how sick the NHL culture is that this is something that would have to be reported. Because out of hospital clearly means ready to play?

- bodiva88

According to Dany Briere and Brendan Gallagher it does.

What was the question? The answer was he knows where Brassard is hurt, the NHL a is a small world. How are we supposed to interpret that? What language was he speaking when he changes his tune after every game base on what happens in the previous game. Come one he went from Kreider accidentally hit Price to he was trying to hurt him back to being accidental when he tried to defend Prust and then comparing the two which is utterly ridiculous. Again, I understand what he is trying to do. It's not going to work with this Rangers group. Third fewest PIM in the league and a lesson on how to rally around teammates is forthcoming. None of this make something out of nothing crap the Habs do. Notice how low key the Rangers are? Talking is done with their play.

the fact that AV made his assistant coach violate a "gentelemen's agreement" tends to prove that it did work a bit

Both teams players and coaches are doing and saying stupid things. Part of the problem is too much time off between games. But for the most part both teams are acting like idiots

the NHL seriously needs to look at this threat by Therrien to get Brassard where he is injured

since Price went down, all this guy has done is plot and order guys to get revenge

- jimbro83

It's his shoulder, so you don't have to do anything illegal against him. Contact is part of the game. That's what Therrien meant. If he is ready to play then he is ready to take a hit.

Always good to consider the source with that one. His team is out of it. He needs hits to get paid. He writes what are basically troll bait. It is good to listen to your better angels. You guys actually still have meaningful hockey to invest in!

Alain Vigneault says "we were treated very unfairly yesterday" when asked about Michel Therrien kicking his assistants out of practice.

Av's first complaint, a week into the series. He needs to up his game to catch Therrian.

you guys act like it's the first time you've been this far in the playoffs ... situations escalate quickly, coach and players get emotional and say/do stupid stuff ... nothing new in there. Also, unlike what most of you think, not one-sided either

oh so, how would you have reacted if a Ranger player had said Price is faking his injury like Gallagher and Briere have implied about Stepan?

Price isn't really injured, it's just fishy.

The funny thing about all this is neither the habs or the rags have a prayer of beating the kings or hawks in the final. If you watch the two series its night and day.

Vigneault is rolling.Following perceived threat directed at Brassard,AV says he hopes nothing happens to Brassard or Therrien is in trouble.

Took him a week to do this. Therrian did it after game 1. Not really the same.

I don't know, that he waited a week or not, to me changes nothing. A threat is a threat. Again, I don't care, I just think you guys might want to get off your high horses

Both sides have been doing saying things and anyone who thinks its all one side has the blinders on. Most of this is just funny at this point. Av and mike t will laugh about it over a beer in the summer. The fans on the other hand......

I will just say to both fan bases, be aware that what you say in your own thread may not be trollish but when you take the same statement to the opponent's thread, it may very well be trollish. Context matters. So you might want to tread carefully. Would hate for anyone to miss posting during and after tonight's contest because of lack of self-regulation today.

You know, I was going to argue with you, but I don't think it's worth it. You're stuck in the mindset that your team can do no wrong, which is fine. Have a great game tonight. One thing is almost sure, one fanbase, if not both, will have something else to complain about after
