This is the NHL. A warning should be issued but they won't, and you're right. He has his players saying the dumbest things. Now I understand where Lucic and the Bruin come from. Yes, threatening to kill someone is a little much but I understand the hatred. Especially when guys like Briere and Gallagher open their mouths. One actually does make contact with goalies at every chance and one has a slashing history who's teammate PK Subban was swinging away like a lumberjack the other night.

I was expecting to hear reasons as to why you think he is a top 5 dman....

Instead I get "McDonoughs Awesome....woohoo"....."he's better than Subban...woohoo"

Reminds me of a modern day Pat Quinn, Quinn was so whiny in the Finals in 94 & also when he Coached Toronto definetly had Tucker take out Peca in the series w the Islanders, had Kenny Jonsson targeted too.

I don't know how but this series is gonna be a new level of intense tonight. But like I & others said yesterday the Rangers are too smart & disciplined to get into dumb stuff. Scoring the next goal & moving 1 game closer to eliminating the Habs is all that matters.

All of this talk is nothing new in the NHL. The issue is, the league has tried so hard to "clean" up the game, they've made it worse. One good bench clearing brawl where everyone gets their licks in, and the whole thing would simmer down. No cheap shots, no crying coaches, and no heroic linesmen. Just get out of the way and let the players settle it.

What language was he speaking when he changes his tune after every game base on what happens in the previous game. Come one he went from Kreider accidentally hit Price to he was trying to hurt him back to being accidental when he tried to defend Prust and then comparing the two which is utterly ridiculous.
