The call is at 4. So I'd guess 5 ish at the latest.

Quintal is a former Hab. i think we all know how this hearing is going to go.

I disagree. I'm not arguing about what he deserves, but he's not going to get anywhere near 4. Seabrook's hit could have paralyzed Backes and he only got 3.

You're right but the one thing the NHL has proved with it's disciplinary actions is they're inconsistent. Any number would not surprise me with them at this point.

Time will tell. Any idea when a word will come down on this at all?

The hearing is today, I would imagine they'd have to have a decision by tomorrow the latest considering they play again Sunday. My guess would be lunchtime tomorrow but that doesn't mean much.

Usually happens much quicker than that. Got to give the team as much notice as possible

I think Prust will receive 3-5. He was the most vocal Hab (mostly the only one) about the Kreider incident and I knew he was out for blood. He found your top center in a vulnerable position and then BAM!

I don't agree with what he did, but it happens in the playoffs a lot. He will pay the price.

As for the void Prust leaves in our lineup, there isn't really one. If we want another Prust inserted into the lineup then we have Ryan White. If we want experience we have Travis Moen. If we want speed and some skill, we have Bournival who would be my personal choice. I would have had Bournival intead of Prust in the first place.

Game 4 should be wild

Phone hearing is maximum 5 though I think. I just don't see that though, like Brian pointed out about the Seabrook hit.

wow, didn't expect to hear of a broken jaw. Just a stupid and NEEDLESS hit by Prust, and he deserves at minimum to be gone the rest of this series, and maybe even the playoffs.

I used to like guys like Prust and Lucic for their toughness, but sometimes you find out that certain players just aren't worth rooting for.

Honestly I know it's the playoffs and players get heated in certain situations but for what Prust did to a former teammate and prob friend off the ice speaks volumes for the type of person he is. I can't believe Steps doesn't have a concussion from the hit. All I am saying that I could careless if Prust gets suspended but the refs who missed the call shouldn't be allowed to ref another game in the playoffs and they should be fined. How you miss that call is beyond me. 4 refs and not one sees this?

Better off going after Markov.. Subban is pretty good at dodging those big hits, but even better at giving them

The greatest revenge is just to go out bury them in the 1st period. Put up a 4 spot on this goalie and call it a day.

You definitely win on Stepan being out compared to Prust. The thing that bothers me the most about this, there was no call when it happened, and Prust deliberately targets Stepan. Where as Kreider, the only argument there is, is that he was somewhat reckless (which I don't agree) but no way there is intent on a breakaway at full speed.

I honestly don't understand how you can come close to comparing the 2. I don't even want to discuss the Kreider incident cause it's totally apples to oranges compared to the Prust hit on Steps. Refs need to be held accountable as well. I wonder what Torts would have done if he was still coach of this team. lol

Therrien constantly bringing up the Kreider/Price play today when asked about the Prust hit. To me that says he ordered retribution and should be suspended himself

I've been watching just about every playoff game around the league ... and EVERY team is crowding/bumping the goalies.

It happens every playoff year, and probably always has.

I was at the game last night and it's amazing how much a of a little bytch your coach is. He jumped up and down like a little baby every time an Hab would be touched. There was one time in particular he jumped up on the bench and was whining to the refs when Mac caught up to Gallagher and stole puck. Nothing but a clean defensive play and he reacted as if it was the dirtiest play in the world.
