20 is inflicting an actual injury, 10 is making contact, and 3 is just a verbal threat or I assume a physical gesture that makes the official flinch.

Seabrook should have gotten 7 to 10 games easily.
But he is a Hawk, so he gets 3 games. Can't risk the Hawks

Out indefinitely just means there is no specific timetable for return. He could be back next game, next series, or next season.

It should be noted that he missed a hell of a lot less time than anyone thought. In the regular season, the hit he took keeps him out a couple months at least. In the playoffs, he comes back before he's actually ready....because it's the cup.

I think his jaw broke from hitting the ice - 2 games was for a seriously late/blind side hit. More games would have come had they made the call that he targeted and hit the head. From slow-mo, it seems he got him in the chest and the major damage came from the fall. Nevertheless, lame play by Prust.

Thought it would be 2-3 games after watching the replay (didnt get to see game live). Hit wasn't directed at head but was pathetically late and from the blind side. Prust brings a dimension of play the Habs lack and could use on occasion, but that crap has no place in the game. Worst thing is both players mentioned being friends; wonder if that will persist after the broken jaw result?

Can't believe Prust is listed at the same height as Stepan... Definitely don't think that's correct. I think the only reason it wasn't a head shot is because Stepan's slightly taller.

Not that it matters but it seemed to me that he leaned in and launched enough that it was inevitable he would catch Stepan high, in the area of the head. To me that hit was the definition of reckless. Show that video to Michel Therrien so he knows exactly what reckless is.

Bottom line is you can't touch an official like he did and it doesn't matter in the least what prompted his reaction. That's not how you avenge or seek retribution for a hit you didn't like. He has to be smarter than that.
