Stepan might not be a top 15 center, in the league, but he is a pretty important piece to the overall forward puzzle on this team. Lines are going to have to be reconfigured and that leaves for a lot of uncertainty in their general effectiveness.

This is true but the Rangers to me seem more focused then I've seen in a very long time. Team believes in itself which is half the battle. Not to mention lundqvist. The finals is another story of course. LA wins it all this year IMO.

I keep shutting Isles fans friends when they try & be silly about the Rangers with "Who are the Islanders playing tonight?" Usually does the job of shutting them up.

One of the best things up until now about this run has been their lack of injuries, but Brass & now Stepan def OUT is gonna test the will. Hopefully Brass is back Sunday.

So let's get back to talking strategy. How's this team going to win on Sunday? Seems to me that they will need to withstand another early surge from the Habs. Need to take away the middle and force Montreal to shoot from the outside.
