So I am guessing there is still no word on Brassard yet. Hope he is back for Sunday. If not, and Stepan isn't playing, we are down our 2 top centers. Lines are going to be all jumbled up. I guess JT would get the nod since he can play center. |

I thought he targeted the chest Jan, but the again, I haven't watched it since yesterday. - mdw7413
Sure looked like he went shoulder to chest. I need to see it again to figure out what hit Kreider's jaw.
I still worry about guys playing with head injuries. The quiet room is too quiet if no one is saying "you're done for the night" at least. I understand how you may not see a nondisplaced fracture immediately on an xray, but to not know contact was made with the head and Kreider not to FEEL that he's broken his jaw. Yes, I know, warrior warrior playoffs blah blah blah--but if he'd taken the right kind of hit on an already broken jaw it could be darned serious. |

Hey Bo, you got Kreider on the mind. It was Stepan. But to your overall post I do agree, I think they might be a little to quick sometimes to get a player back out there. Definitly during the playoffs. |

Jan posted a video a few pages back that breaks down the point of impact. |

Stepan obviously had Jim Ramsey break his jaw in the locker room to give his plea some more credibility. |

Ramsey just wrapped up a bar of soap in a towel and kept repeatedly hitting Stepan in face . |

Boy how dramatic & nuts will it be if Stepan is out on the ice to start the game w a full cage as the anthem is playing? Chills thinking bout that. Willis Reed moment? |

Just win the game & ultimately the series & it's all good. This was our high water mark 2 yrs ago & we didn't win another game in that series. Not thinking negatively just saying, want to get that next win, get us a little closer. |

Montreal Michel got his wish. Although my guess is Brass plays but who knows how effective he will be. If there is any justice Stepan plays as does Brass and they win the next two. Shut that whiny big mouth once and for all. |

I know right. Only in Montreal does an accident becomes intent to mame and an intentional action turns into an accident. |

Lets hope the Rangers do the right thing with him and not rush him back. He suffered a serious injury. |

Stepan had a plate inserted to stabilize fractured jaw. Still unclear as to whether or not he will be able to play. #toughdude

Joannette didn't make the call. The Herbet made the call. So it seems like you can't hook while Joannette is officiating, but gladiator type violence is acceptable. - tomburton99
Wasn't Joannette the same ref that tripped Stepan when he had that breakaway earlier in the playoffs? What the hell does he have against Stepan? |

Brassard will play game 4. He says he will be 100 percent healthy and ready. |
