JG and backs I don't think fit.

JG needs a trigger that can one time his quick passes (like stlouis/stamkos....and thats not because of the size comparison, or Hull/Oates). Wish he came along when iggy was here, Iggy could rattle them off from the hash marks all day with him.

JG/2way big centre that clears space/RW snipper. Cammy could have a big year with him, but thats too small of a line......Going out on a limb, I think we'll see him playing with colborne a lot and colborne having a decent year. Not cause I think colbornes that great, but because I think he's complimentary in the right areas and showed progress in the areas that a player like JG uses.

What about a RW like Evander Kane? They might be a nice fit.

Kane is a left shot LW. I wouldn't mind him but I don't think the cost to get him would be worth it. I really, really, really want them to concentrate their efforts on getting a future RW star in Coyle (1st choice) or Alex Chiasson

There has been no response to this quote yet. That surprises me.

I don't take it too seriously personally. Nuge has had enough success in the first three seasons to cement himself as a career NHLer, even if he doesn't live up to his billing.

Gadreau will likely be at that stage in a mere three years, but he hasn't proved anything yet.

Yeah……I meant the other right.

Coyle would be sick. Not sure what Minni needs/what it would take to get him.

Feaster may have lost a few trades, but he did a jelluva job drafting and setting the course of this teams future. Best GM drafting since Fletcher IMO

Well I definitely think bot MIN and DAL need a PP QB. SO Wideman at maybe 1.5-2mil retained could be an attractive start. Throw in one of our superfluous LW prospects and a 2nd? Maybe add a Galiardi or a Byron. I would give up a ton to get one of those guys.

Him and Nugent would make good line mates over there

But I wouldn't be surprised if Gaudreau can out-Press the Nuge by at least 40lbs

I think it's completely possible. I see a few scenarios happening.

1. FLA feels they're set with Barkov and Busjstad as #1 and 2 C and prefer a wing to play with them. They taks Bennett over Reinhart because they feel his game translates better to wing than Reinhart. BUF either takes Ekblad feeling he is BPA or Reinhart because they need offence and are not sold on Grigerenko, Hodgson and Girgensons as the top 3 or Reinhart could be a good winger(which I believe they really need). Then they take Reinhart. If Reinhart is left, I think EDM sees to similar a comparison to RNH and wants to mix it up and grabs the bigger Draisaitl. This leaves us Reinhart.

2. BUF takes Reinhart leaving Ekblad on the table. EDM has to decide. Do they need a bigger skilled C in the system, which they really lack or another D to add eventually to Marincin, Klefbom etc. I think they take Draisaitl and try to trade for or sign a dman

Reinhart could easily fall to 4.

I thought he was younger and had time to grow, poor kid is probably never gonna reach 5'8" 160lbs. Maybe keep him for a couple years and trade him to Tampa Bay.

It takes time and considerable effort to build up that core strength. St louis and Cammaleri 5'8" , 5'9" -- 180 lbs 190 lbs respectively, didn't achieve this over night. A summer working out with the pros should see him make some gains, and by all accounts Gaudreau has the desire to push himself in training much like Cammi and St louis do.

Edit: St louis was 24 before he began to make an impact at the NHL level...so short answer- Yes, he does still have time to grow.

MacT definitely should have acted like he wanted Reinhart in an effort to spook Calgary into trading up. A good opportunity for showmanship wasted there.

Yeah, that's Mac T's weakness....he's too honest and forthright with the fans...kinda has to be after following Steve "we will have to analyze, assess and deliberate " Tambellini.
