The speed depends on the writer for the episode, some are really good, some suck balls. Bryan Cogman is probably the best writer they have, his episodes rock.


Also they need to slow some story down and speed some up because some take a long time in the books with heavy introspection and you can't convey introspection on screen...and if you could, they don't want to.

You really would mate. I read the first four before the series came out, I've basically put aside my book puritanical side. It used to anger me with the changes and such, but you need to just push past it.

BTW you would love Bran's story in the book vs the screen, they (frank)ed it up in season 2 basically and never recovered, mostly to make Theon look worse. Theon was a badass in the books btw
