I don't see Pateryn and Nygren in the top 6 next year on a regular basis.
- StormCloud

Nor will they be. Nygren might come in as a 7th, or else he'll be traded.

Pateryn has a two-way next year so he can be sent to the minors if need be.

I feel you have to trade Pateryn in that case though. He was the best player in Hamilton last year, it's kind of a slap in the face.

Nygren is a bit of an enigma. I've always been intrigued by his game and potential, but I don't think he'll play anywhere but Montreal or Sweden (Can't say I blame him for not wanting to be in Hamilton). I feel like he could turn into a good NHL player, but the way the teams stocked at the moment the chips are never going to fall properly for him to make it in.

I honestly think he could be a solid player. He did well in Hamilton before he got scared away, and I thought he had some really good looking pre-season games.

I don't think he'll ever be a regular in Montreal because of other prospects. Just kind of sucks to never really know what could have been.

104mph shot and was voted best d in the league over there, he can't be all bad. Hell bring him over and play him 7th and see what he can do. Who cares about his development if we'd lose him anyways

Eller's flying, and he's responsible in his own end too, and in the neutral. Give him Gallagher and Galch, they're flying too.

I'm guessing if you're the Islanders, you don't have much of a choice but to overpay.
