Bourque has become his old self again. Scratch him and get Bournival back in the lineup. Was the only one who could skate with the Rangers on Saturday.

if Montreal doesn't re-sign Vanek, i think they should make a pitch for James Neal.

regardless, it doesn't get scored if Max isn't in the paint. the idea that he never goes to the net is ridiculous. does he do it on every offensive position? no. should he doing that? no, not with his shot. he should be looking for seams and setting himself up to take passes. it's funny how in Toronto, 37-goal Phil Kessel is a god and considered one of best scorers in the game, but in Montreal, we poop all over 39-goal Max Pacioretty every chance we get.

Neal? yeah not a fan of some of the things he does. but i mentioned him because he is likely to be available and Montreal needs to add a 30-goal scorer if they want to stay in the upper echelon of the conference next year (assuming Vanek leaves).

I think this might have something to do with that one.

well that's obviously an issue, since we've already dealt a high pick and solid prospect for Vanek. not sure what they'd ask. first and a young player/prospect to start i imagine. but Montreal not having any picks in the first 2 rounds this year would be bad.

easy there, slight exaggeration here

We're talking about having a lot more traffic in front of Hank, that means the wingers need to go often to the net and not just skate by but park their fat ass in front to draw the D's to block Hank's view.

Vanek might be a better fit with DD/Pacs.

so you're saying the poopting on him is warranted because he doesn't pick up enough assists?

He's talented as (frank). Seems to disappear in hard fought playoff series though. Probably just a Pittsburgh thing.

it's not an exaggeration. the complaining about Pacioretty in here has been going on since the lockout ended. it quiets down when he's on a hot streak but then reaches a fever pitch when he's a bit cold.
